A little background:

Since leaving university with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science, including sometime living in Australia, I’ve tried to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can to help as many people as I can. This has included working with elite level powerlifters and rugby players to countless people wanting to get stronger and lose fat.

How I enjoy training personally:

As a competitive powerlifter, I enjoy strength training. Out of competition, muscle building and strongman are nice changes.

My role at True:

My role is to help you stay accountable and consistent. It’s your gym and you’re setting the direction you’re going. I’m just here to keep you on the right track.

Anything else important you want to mention:

Workout mentality - I have come here to kickass and chew bubblegum, and I’m all out of bubblegum.

A little background:

I qualified as a personal trainer in 2019, swapping the tax sheets for a set of dumbbells after originally working in accounting and finance.
“You can create a lot of meaning in your own life by helping someone else do something that is meaningful for them”
The above quote sums up why I decided to make the career change.
Since then, I have not looked back, and still share the same passion as when I first entered this industry in helping people train effectively and have fun whilst doing it!

How I enjoy training personally:

A 1-hour date with the Airdyne. Joking, I’m not crazy, resistance training is my jam!

My role at True:

I am very excited to help both our Wetherby and Guiseley members reach their health and fitness goals, as well as helping our Personal Training Team continue to deliver awesome sessions and develop as coaches. I shall see you all on the gym floor!

A little background:

I have a degree in sports and exercise science and love using my knowledge to help others. I have always had a passion for all things sports and fitness, and spend my weekends playing rugby union.

How I enjoy training personally:

I enjoy using functional, athletic movements and keeping my training varied by using a mix of CrossFit and S&C techniques to hit all aspects of fitness

What your role will be at True and a personal message to members:

My role is to help you achieve your goals by coaching, designing programmes and pushing you through your sessions. Helping you achieve things you never knew you could.

A little background:

I have always been passionate about fitness and training having played football for pretty much my whole life. Since completing a Strength and Conditioning degree in 2022, I’ve worked with a range of clients to help them achieve their goals.

Resistance training and functional training

My role at True:

My role is to tailor training plans to meet individual clients requirements, whether that be weight loss, muscle gain or anything in between!

Martial arts, yoga, strength training, women's weight loss, and mindset.

A little background:

My passion for health and fitness has come from being brought up in a sporty household! My dad was a Power-lifter and as a child I learnt how to ski, sail and lift heavy weights. This led to me becoming a martial arts instructor in 2011 and later on, a Personal Trainer in 2020. I wanted to teach more people what I had learnt and what truly makes life enjoyable; being able to feel happy and confident within your own body!

How I enjoy training personally:

My training goals are based around how I feel! I like to keep it varied to keep it interesting so sometimes my focus is on getting stronger, sometimes it's based on my physique and other times it's just about having fun (like learning how to ice-skate backwards). I set myself new goals every year, but as long as I'm active, I'm happy!

What your role will be at True and a personal message to members:

My role at True is a mixture of membership and Personal Training - this means I'm the person guiding you, from your first phone call, to your first gym session, to your first Personal Best! I'm the person that gets to help you understand the benefits of exercise and how life changing being a member at True, really is!

A message to members

My message to our members is firstly to say thank you for all being so welcoming. Being welcomed to such a great community has shown me how kind the people of Yorkshire really are! My training journey is beginning again and seeing how hard you all work is a huge motivator. I want to be able to put my money where my mouth is and lead from the front, to keep pushing you all to new levels. It's been really great to get to know you all over these last few weeks and I cannot wait to get fully immersed in life at True.
